About

After a hiatus through the pandemic, the King's FRCR 2B course is returning.

The course will feature the same great King's College Hospital faculty, and the set-up of this course has been reworked to match the new exam layout.

The Aim

To provide FRCR2B candidates with an opportunity to practise the final FRCR viva under exam conditions, with case by case feedback.

These sessions are practical, stimulating and a comprehensive viva exam experience:

  •  practical (case-based learning);

  • stimulating (interactive, challenging cases, immediate feedback after the viva)

  • comprehensive (covering a full range of viva topics with a range of FRCR qualified faculty)

By the end of the sessions, the delegate will have:

  • Learn pearls and avoid common pitfalls for the FRCR2B viva

  • Develop confidence interpreting and presenting viva case studies

  • Increase your knowledge of exam technique, case breadth and complexity

How it works?

The set-up of this course has been reworked to match the current exam layout. You can book one-to-one viva case sessions or attend as a small group with the benefit of observing your peers.

Using Infomed’s expertise and setup, delegates will attend online to connect with the instructor. The delegate will then open the cloud based PACS and share their screen with the instructor. The 60 minutes session will then begin.

You, the delegate will be provided with focused attention and case by case feedback.

At the end of each case viewing session, each delegate will also hear the proposed model answers for each case. We want to challenge the delegates and will have a wide selection of ‘gold medal’ type cases to help you not only pass but excel in the exam.
